If you have access to 10.4 Tiger it works fine on these old clamshell iBooks. If yours has Firewire (SE version) Tiger will install normally. If yours doesn't have Firewire, you'll need to either create a custom installer CD/DVD (or USB stick, or USB HD) with a modified OSInstall.dist
