Hi all!
I attended FOSDEM this year and was part of the team that put up the

I'll be writing up a report on my DevConf experience as well (soon enough).

Hey Johnny,
Could you please provide an update on the 3.6.9 release plans?
The GlusterFS release schedule has 3.6 releases happening every month
on the week of the 20th. We're less than a week away to the release as

After the migration, it turns out that we only updated the DNS records
for review.gluster.org, and not that for review.gluster.com.
This has lead to git pull/push and rfc.sh failures for people who had
cloned their repositories from review.gluster.com. Anyone who's still

Some of you might have seen GlusterFS-3.7.10 packages appear in the

GlusterFS-3.7.10 contains a regression (also present in 3.7.9), which
could prevent GlusterD from starting after a reboot.
This regression was decided as a

Hi All,
There has been a recent change which has caused failures to build
RPMs. This change was also unknowingly backported to release-3.7,
because the failures were not reported back to gerrit.
Rpmbuild results aren't being reported back to gerrit since we brought
in the new flags for voting.

posted by Jenkins and ensure that all 7 tests have been reported back,

The install path should be `$DESTDIR/$PREFIX/`.
PREFIX should be the path under which the file is going to be installed.
DESTDIR is a way to make it easier to package builders to collect

Hi all!
The GlusterFS-3.6 series has been around for nearly 2 years now. The
first 3.6.0 release happened late October 2014. We've had 9 releases
since then, with latest release 3.6.9 happening in early March 2016.
There hasn't been any activity on the release-3.6 branch since then.

Hi all,
As you know, 3.6 will be EOLed once 3.9 is released. But we still have
a lot of bugs open on 3.6.x [1]. We need to screen these bugs and
close/clone these as required.
In yesterday's community meeting, we decided to have this screening
after the Bug-triage meeting next week. All
Apologies for the late announcement.
GlusterFS-3.7.13 has been released. This release fixes 2 serious
libgfapi bugs and several other bugs. The release notes can be found
at [1].
The source tarball and prebuilt packages can be downloaded from [2].
Please report any bugs found using [3].

Today's meeting didn't go according to the agenda, as we initially had
low attendance. Attendance overall was low as well owing to a holiday
in Bangalore.

I'm not going to be delaying the release anymore. I'll be adding this
issue into the release-notes as a known-issue.

Hi all,
I'm (or was) planning to do a 3.7.13 release on schedule today. 3.7.12
has a huge issue with libgfapi, solved by [1].
I'm not sure if this fixes the other issues with libgfapi noticed by
Lindsay on gluster-users.
This patch has been included in the packages 3.7.12 built for CentOS,
