nges you make with the "gluster"
command to the peers, obviously if you make local changes to the
volume file on one server you are likely to break things unless you
copy rsync the changes to the other server.

Hi,
Isn't the trusted.afr.dirty attribute missing from Brick 2? Shouldn't it be
increased
and decreased, but never removed?
Could that be the reason why GlusterFS is confused?
What could be the reason for gfid mismatches?

Hi,
Is there really any difference if you heal a volume by running the 'gluster
volume
heal' command compared to if you run the 'find vol -exec stat {} \;' command?
As far as I understand, both will sync the bricks, although I guess the the
gluster
command is asynchronous. I prefer synchronous

Hi,
I can't mount the GlusterFS volume anymore. Any ideas what could be wrong? I
guess
the volume should mount even though the remote brick might not be available? In
this
case it is available ('pingable'), but in some cases it may not be, which seems
pretty normal for a replicated volume.

Hi,
I detected a directory in split-brain on my file system, but I'm surprised that
'gluster volume heal vol info split-brain' doesn't report it.
I would have expected it to show only split-brain issues, compared to 'gluster

heal vol info' that shows more info
regarding the healing

I guess that a normal gluster user would in the beginning add the
replica bricks required and then, whenever the servers restarts, let
gluster restart using the same configuration

I first create a volume consisting of only one brick, which clients will start

After a while I add a second brick to the volume to create a replicated
