Hello
We are trying to setup Gluster for our project/scratch storage HPC machine
using a replicated mode with 2 nodes, 2 bricks each (14tb each).
Our goal is to be able to have a replicated system between node 1 and 2 (A
bricks) and add an additional 2 bricks (B bricks) from the 2 nodes. so
Ok. Thank you very much...
Thanks and Regards,

Subject: Re: [Gluster-users] Bricks to sub-volume
hi everyone
I understand this should be trivial.
I'm amazed by the lack of tool in gluster tool kit which
would swap peer IP when it is the only change in the
cluster. Peer naturally is a brick in volumes.
Or I'm oblivious to the fact that gluster command line
actually does this?
What do
I've recently enabled an SSD backed 2 TB hot tier on my 150 TB 2 server / 3
bricks per server distributed replicated volume.
I'm seeing IO get blocked across all client FUSE threads for 10 to 15
seconds while the promotion daemon runs. I see the 'glustertierpro' thread
jump to 99% CPU usage on
Sorry about the delayed response. Had to dig into the history to answer various
"why"s.

Can this get into 'FAQ' document somewhere? This is one of the major
question asked all the time.
