Applications menu, no drop down list

Hi, I did something goofy with the main menu bar. When I click on Applications, I no longer get the drop down list. Nothing happens when I try to edit it. Places and System still have a list. Added a new menu bar applet to the panel - same problem. Using Fedora 10. Thx, Bill
