I have followed the latest documentation that says that if one wants to
get the latest source files using Git, then one must clone against the
GitHub mirror, and so I did.
After cloning, I couldn't find the "user_data_dir" function inside,
only "g_set_user_data_dir" (in

There is also Debbugs ([[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Debbugs]]), and
also GNU Savane (the software which is used to host Puszcza and GNU
Savannah) ([[https://savannah.gnu.org/projects/administration/]]).
We could also make use of GNU Savannah itself, no need to host our own,
and no need to go
+1, it's a lot easier to just format-patch and send it to some place
related to the project than using GitHub. :)

I can't say what's wrong with DocBook, because using Org is a personal
preference of mine, so first and most important: This is personal
opinion.

Personally, I think this would be mostly solved by switching to TeXInfo,
or to Org Mode. The latter also supports TeXInfo publication.
