I did a git pull and then ran this script:
#!/bin/bash
#
# build-gnucash
#
# NOte: do a git pull followed by git checkout of version desired
before starting script
cd $HOME/Projects/GnuCash/gnucash
GITVER=$(git describe)
MYVER=${GITVER%-*}
MYRPR=Build-gnucash_${MYVER}
echo $MYVER
cd ..
rm
Thanks John and all the team for the hard work and a new version. Built from the
tarball and runs with no obvious problems on Linux Mint Vanessa.

The GnuCash development team announces GnuCash 4.13, the fourteenth release in
the stable 4.x series
Between 4.12 and 4.13, the following bugfixes were accomplished:
• Bug 760274 - The Statusbar "forgets" when register doesn't have focus
• Bug 798545 - Crash when updating
