[GNC] Register issues within 3.2

2018-07-05 Thread Alun Champion
OS: MacOS Version: Gnucash 3.2 After pasting (Cmd-V) data into a register the register will no longer receive normal keyboard input, just the annoying keyboard beep. Enter still works, as does tab but no data entry from the keyboard in any field in the register for that account. Other registers

Gnucash 3.2-1 just became available in the Fedora 28 repositories.  I installed using DNF and experienced no unusual issues. Thanks to whoever did the work. RBM ___ gnucash-user mailing list gnucash-user@gnucash.org To update your subscription

Greg, Just so you don't feel like you are alone, I have GnuCash running on for different machines one Windows and three are assorted versions of Uubuntu and Debian. Only one of them (one of the Ubuntu machines) will retrieve quotes successfully through AlphaVantage, and that is about 1/3 to 1/2

Reviving this thread - I decided to follow others' recommendation of installing perlbrew, and F::Q is working from the CLI. However, I'm not seeing any change in the Gnucash behavior (v2.6.21, key in the preferences pane, retrieval failing), so I think I'm missing a step on having Gnucash actually

I can confirm 3.2 has issues with completion on MacOS. When typing in the register description the first letter completes but the next letter inserts vs replaces the proposed completion, so if you intended `commute`, `c` would complete to `car` and the next key would end up with `coar`, which

Some people have reported saving took considerably less time when they made the gnucash window as small as possible. This suggests gnucash is repeatedly updating its window contents while saving. Can you check if this makes a difference for you ? Geert Op donderdag 5 juli 2018 08:19:01 CEST
