If I had a vote, I’d say keep one and just delete the other entirely. Even a
’see also’ is just clutter.
As to which name to keep, the easiest and likely most discoverable is “Income
Statement”.
Alternatively, and this would require a RFE, would be to have it named
according to the Chart of

Hello,
I'm a user of GnuCash for a long time now but I'm testing importing
transactions from CSV for the first time.
Unfortunately, it seems I have a problem with the Bayes matching system.
When I try to import a CSV, just before the "match transactions" window
should appear, gnucash hangs,

David, thanks, that works slick as you said. I've been known to over-think
at times. Once again. . .
Liz, RE:Preferences, to amateur-me it looks like the registry differences
between the old and new installs are minor. I've read the FAQ but I don't
know how to actually move the old keys over
I'm not an accountant so when I saw that a report menu has both Income

wikipedia. While there are apparently subtle differences meaningful to those
wearing green eye shades, the reports for both are identical.
Sure enough,
Jack,
This is a known bug with version 3.2.
You should be able to re-select the note and paste over it, or type over the
selection.

When I pay bills online I routinely copy the confirmation number from the web
page and then paste it into the notes on a transaction. I've done that twice
this morning and both times, after pasting in (Ctrl-V) the confirmation number,
I could not edit the note. It just makes a sound and will

I have been using GnuCash since 2009. Twice every year I need to
transfer my account file from one desktop to another. I never had any
trouble opening GnuCash after each such transfer until now.
Early on in my use of GnuCash I changed the accounts separator from the
colon (:) to the back
Dick,
All that is necessary is to copy the .gnucash file from that
directory to the new computer (usb stick is probably easiest) where
is the name you originally gave your Gnucash file. This is the
only file that it is necessary to copy to transfer to your new machine

Colin,
There is a link labelled issues to the Gnome bugzilla site on the flathub

Hi Colin,
Sorry for the confusion. I had gone back to check where LM installed from
its software manager to check that it was into /usr/local and discovered it
was now using flatpack and didn't install in any manner I was previously
accustomed to. I appreciate that apt installs to /usr but my
