Just place them in a similar folder to where they were before. Anywhere in your User’s data folder where you keep the rest of your personal (as opposed to system) files is fine. You’ll probably have to use File > Open for each file the first time, then GnuCash will remember where they are.

Again, I am new to GC. I am trying to setup the chart of account and is facing a problem - unable to download more than 5 currencies exchange rate. I did some experiments. I was unable to download the exchange rate after I removed the Alpha Vantage API key. Therefore, I guess the exchange rate is
