When that happens to me I will discover that I entered a transaction

Thanks for moving it somewhere clearer. I'm surprised more people don't
want this feature, it's bog standard in most programs I use every day.

For some reason, no. Is there any particular reason why there isn't an

I'm another Ed and am experiencing the same issue with the Investment Portfolio
report. Was working fine until the upgrade to V3.7.
Here is what is in my trace file after trying to run the report:

In c-interface.scm:

do I need to reinstall perl?
if so which version is needed for Windows 10?
thanks for your patience

I pressed on via selection of Edit / Report Options and selected an
investment account. Then performed a reload. Same error is displayed.
This feature is sorely missed with v3.7, worked fine before upgrade.

I wish that file could not be so easily deleted.
I now know that the proper way to create a new budget is modify an existing

Any ideas why not? I have to select and cut, which is a bit annoying.
I'm using version 3.2, and this didn't happen with previous versions.

I still think it's better to have them all totally adjustable. It's far
less confusing. Stick to what people expect, I believe, unless there's a
VERY good reason not to.
Anyway, thanks for the link, I'll check there in future before posting here!

Ed, have you tried double clicking in the headers of the too narrow
columns?
Praise the Lord, that helps a great deal. Now I can use it again :)
There's still a UI bug to fix, but this is a great workaround.
Thanks for that nugget, much appreciated!

Gday all, I've just installed 3.0, and it looks great! Unf, when I
resize one of the columns (description), I can only make it bigger, and
not smaller.
All the other fields are now too small, and it's unusable.
Any suggestions?
Thanks from down under.
