Hi, Gnucash 3.1 does not use right characters coding for retrieving files from the files history list inherited from Gnucash 2.6.21
If the historical gnucash file path contains an accented character, it doesn't find it. For example, instead of looking for "Comptabilité", it looks for "Comptabilié" There is a way to fix this: when asked, remove the file from the history list, then open it by navigating to its folder, and the history list will then be updated with right path coding. Many thanks indeed for your hard work Jacques Bezckand ____________ Diacre Jacques Beckand Unité Pastorale des Sources Vives rue de la Mutualité 77 1180 Uccle GSM 0476 469426 _______________________________________________ gnucash-user mailing list gnucash-user@gnucash.org To update your subscription preferences or to unsubscribe: https://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucash-user If you are using Nabble or Gmane, please see https://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Mailing_Lists for more information. ----- Please remember to CC this list on all your replies.
