I just did a similar fat fingering. I associated the *wrong security* for an account after entering the transaction history -- less than 20 transactions. But thought I would ask -- since this thread is a couple of years old... want to confirm that the attribute cannot be edited. Thanks, AEG

Haven't seen anything posted on this so maybe this is a problem with my setup? I also checked the bugs on https://www.gnucash.org/news.phtml. When using the search function, just one of the requested parameters is visible, although there is a good amount of white space in the dialogue box.

Amex is encrypting (tokenizing?) the account number now. So you have to determine what your account number is. I downloaded a QFX file from their website. reveals the encrypted account number. I don't know if this sort of account number gets rotated every so often so I am not saying this is
