Previously I have been able to update share and fund prices manually using Price Editor which appeared in the Tools menu. It is no longer there, but Price Database and Security Editor are there. I tried updating to version 4.11 in the hope that this would solve the problem but it has not. I am

Perhaps something was lost in translation. When a transaction has an embedded price Gnucash assumes that it is a purchase or sale and the price is exact for that trade. Quotes are generally assumed to be estimates, therefore somewhat soft like newspaper quotes. On Fri, Nov 5, 2021, 5:57 PM

Might be a Yahoo problem. AlphaAdvantage worked fine for me just now. Check your tracefile before restarting GnuCash and/or run from the command line to see if you get any warnings or errors output to a terminal. See the wiki for more instructions if you aren’t familiar with either. Regards,
