I added the extra text to the environment file as requested. - GnuCash loaded normally. - I created and saved a new file. - I was able to exit GnuCash and restart successfully, loading the new file. - I tried to load a copy of my existing data file from 2.6.18 and the "loading user data..." stage

I downloaded an installed the Windows version: gnucash-2.7.0-setup.exe. It installs OK but upon running the proigram immediately crashes with Runtime Error. Windows 10 Pro 64 bit 15063.674 running on VMware Workstation 12 Player. -- Sent from:

I downloaded the Windows installer, and it successfully installed on a Windows 10 VM. When I try to launch GnuCash it fails with: Runtime Error! The application has requested Runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Windows 10 Pro 64 bit, 15063.674. -- Sent from:
