e a stack trace it’s hard to know why it crashed.
While we’re on the subject of stuff you’re doing wrong let’s add hijacking a
thread. The subject says “GnuCash 2.7 on Windows” but you’re on an unspecified
Linux distro.

I see, thanks for this. Unfortunately it still doesn't work, now I get
to be one step further and the loading window appears before crashing:
