New transaction report (Was: Migration from Quicken 98)

I can no longer put it off. I entered a particular string amongst about 30-40 transactions so that I could do a 'classes-style' report that would search for my string to find the transactions I want to report. Reviewing the capabilities of the 'standard reports', I see that I cannot
