Have downloaded latest upgrade to my MacBook Pro. All appears to have downloaded successfully but it just quits when you select ‘continue’ following verifying. I have checked it is in applications folder and tried to open from here. I have deleted and downloaded again. I have rebooted etc Still

WaltD Please be sure to include gnucash-user@gnucash.org in all communications by using reply All or whatever works best in your mail client. I personally installed release 2.6.17 from GetDeb into Ubuntu 16.04 Gnome on an older laptop and it has worked as well as I could expect with only 2 Gig

[GNC] Can't save a file to redirected folder.

Admittedly, I'm brand new to GnuCash but I think this is a real issue. I'm using GnuCash 3.1 on Win 7. My windows Desktop directory is redirected to a 2008 Server on my home network. I create a new project and try to save it. 1) I first create a folder (Accounting) on my Desktop which succeeds.

Steve, One possibility is to use synchronized data bases using master-slave replication. I know this works with MySQL and it is a bit of a pain to set up but once it is going it is generally pretty good. Also a bit of a pain to restart if the replication gets out of sync. I have been meaning to

Yesterday, I created a new stock account, like all of the other stock accounts that I have.  The strange thing is while the stock is listed in my Security Editor, it is NOT listed in Price Editor.  How is this possible? How can I fix this problem? Thanks, Les
