COURSE ON CULTIVATION OF ORCHID AND ANTHURIUMS

St. Xavier's College, Mapusa, is organizing its third course on "Cultivation of Orchids and Anthuriums", under the extension service of the Community College Cell.  The course will be of four months duration and will be starting from 19th November, 2005, on Saturdays from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Orchids and Anthuriums have a good potential in Goa, which can be tapped not only as a hobby, but also provide an opportunity for self-employment.  Besides, they require easy handling, have a long table life of 15-20 days and remain fresh on the plant for not less than a month.
