The Mass Communication Department of St. Xavier's College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Mapusa, has established Xavier's News and Features E-Service, in order to provide News and Features related to education, environment and development. 

This is a free service and media persons are not required to make any payment.

The Department also undertakes the coverage of events as well as preparation of features on payment basis, when requested.

XAVIER’S NEWS & FEATURES E-SERVICE (XNFES)
St. Xavier’s Participates in the National Integration Camp
 

The National Integration Camp (NIC) 2005-06, was held at Varanasi, in Uttar Pradesh, from 20^th December to 2^nd January. It was attended by 16 Directorates of NCC Comprising all the 28 states of India.
 
The Karnataka & Goa Directorate consisted of 18 cadets from Goa NCC Unit, out of which 8 were girls and ten boys. The Goa Contingent was headed by  Major (Dr) Sudha Chari , Four girl cadets and two boy cadets from St. Xavier’s College were selected for NIC namely : Shraddha Naik             (SYBA) Stephanie D’Souza (SYBA) Fayzia Pires            (SYBSc) Jolene Pereira (SYBSc) Blake D’Souza (SYBSc) Amresh Pandey (SYBSc)
 
Goa Bagged: 1^st place in Group Dance 2^nd place in Solo Dance (Shraddha Naik from Xavier’s) 1^st place in General Knowledge Quiz and 4^th place in Drill Competition
