some way of deleting spam ads seems to be a good idea. Yes, but... * I can't delete the spam myself. * Editing archives may cause legal problems for the service. * I'd prefer not to give out unix logins for this. * The best place for blocking spam is at the list server. * Adding a web based spam cleanup function is tons of work. (There isn't even a concept of an owner for a particular list archive.) the bad news is, now i can't tweak my "Date:" field so that my messages come from the Year 3000, and my messages stay on top of the pile for the next 1000 years.
