Is it possible, when registering an app with Growl, to use anything other
than icon of application to set the icon? I'm writing some scripts that
are not applications in their own right, but extensions to an existing
software package, but I'd really like them to have their own icon

Can anyone tell me how to unregister an application using Applescript, I'm
creating a growl notification connector with FileMaker and I'd like the
user to be able to decide which applications they are interested in,
without having to launch the growl control panel.

There is no way to do this, and there are no plans to add such a
feature. It would be too abusable to meddle with user's settings
against their will.

resources file before registering, which will cause us to cache that
