I have been developing software to control a hackrf/beaglebone unit. Recently I
saw here some postings here about the development of a single printed circuit
version combining the hackrf with a beaglebone or perhaps a more powerful CPU.
My suggestion to the developers is this. Please use a

USB cable, and 2) a defective micro USB port in the HackRF. With these fixed
the radios work fine in continuous applications.

There is an android app called rf analyzer that will control a hackrf. I have
used this app on an sg3 with the after market heavy duty battery. The SdrTouch
app might also work.
