Birders,
I observed the following at Waterworks Park from 1100-1140 today:
50 Chimney Swifts
Great Egret
Ross's Goose
4 escapee ducks (3 were Muscovies)
Many Tree Swallows and Yellow-rumped Warblers
A few of both species of Kinglet
I also had a Ruddy Duck at Gray's Lake.
Good birding,
John
Hi all,
The adult Lesser Black-backed Gull was still present Oct. 12 and 13 at
the beach of the west overlook just above the Coralville Reservoir Dam
in Johnson County. There were also numerous Franklin's Gulls and one
adult Herring gull with the many Ring-billed Gulls.
Good birding,
Jim
I still had a Snow-covered Hummingbird at my feeder yesterday noon, but
nobody spotted one here today.
