Earlier this week, the ~40 Turkey Vultures that roosted on Algona's
grain elevator for the past four months decided it was time for a change
of scenery. It's looked like a busy airport around here with their
morning departures, midday soaring, and evening returns, but now the
skies are eerily empty. Fall seems much more real now...
