All, The NomCom is pleased to announce the appointment of Deb Cooley as SEC AD for a one year term.
Deb will fill the position vacated by Roman Danyliw when he becomes IETF Chair; see the previous announcement [1]. This concludes the regular business of the NomCom for this cycle. The NomCom thanks those who were willing to volunteer their time for leadership roles, even if those who were not selected. Or maybe especially those people who were not selected: we hope that you all consider accepting nominations again. We also thank the community for the support provided throughout this process. I would personally like to also thank the NomCom volunteers and liaison members. This is a difficult and sometime unpleasant task that takes a lot of time to do well. I have been impressed with the diligence of the NomCom and the respectful manner that these people applied throughout.
