I feel blogging is equally powerful and sometimes serves more. Of
course, Ham Radio did it's part well in the past during natural
calamities and at times of war. Development of other technologies
have , unfortunately, limited it being only a hobby.

How about like this? Think about the difference between being able
to just use a PC and being able to open up a PC, take it apart and
then put it back together in working condition.
