your end goal, but I had a similar error code and got it resolved as
follows. The server has a dial up connection with a static IP, but hosts a
proxy server with a NIC and a private static IP. The problem was that

If IMail is installed on a PC with DHCP address, it will NOT work correctly!
You MUST have a fixed IP. There are one or 2 tools others have mentioned
here in the past, that could be helpful for this situation. Unfortunately, I

to relay all your inbound and outbound.
For the outbound, you Imail will dump

Take a look at the manual for the NOBODY alias. Basically you just create an alias
called nobody and tell it where to send those messages that have an invalid
destination. Beware, you could get a lot of junk by doing this!

Setup an alias called [EMAIL PROTECTED] and point it to a POP3 account.
This will send any mail, addressed to invalid users, within your domain, to
the nobody alias, which will in turn forward it to a POP3 account of your
choice.

One of my customers had a similar need some time ago.
I think it should suit your case as well. Just modify
the rule scanning the headers (H~)to scan the bodies (B~).
