Hello again.
Thanks for the response.
None of the templates have been changed, and the web messaging path has not been
altered.
The server has been running without any problems for a long time where it was possible
to delete users etc.
I've tried using complete new std templates, and
untile yesterday I was using a friendly DNS for my Imail as the DNS for my
server is screwy and the company that host the machine will do nothing about
it. Anyway, the DNS has shut down and I'm in need of another. IF someone
could offer this service I would be very grateful. I installed version 6

Ok here's one I don't recall seeing on here. Is there a way to display to

I am thinking it could be done with the DIRUSE utility but not sure how to

It sounds like your problem is that when you send E-mail to a user that does
not exist on the IMail server, no reject/bounce message is sent.
The only thing I can think of that would cause this is that you have a

The "nobody" alias should get all E-mail that is addressed to people who

If you did not already do so, a good practice to get into is to have each domains

Looks like a good idea and implimentation (not a coder myself, so have not

If you are NT based, open regedt32, go to the:
HKEY-Local-Machine...Software...Ipswitch...and save that key.
Copy the saved key and the entire Imail subdirectory structure over to the
new system, import the key, I'd guess a re-install of your current version
to get the services registered, etc.
Randy,
Thanks for the info. However, I've just remembered (thanks to your mention

guess it'll be a case of importing registry to new machine

Imail itself doesn't care one bit about subnet masks - it just binds a
virtual domain to an IP address that exists within the network config's for
the host machine.
But your host machine cares a LOT about subnet masks, and yes, yours will
change UNLESS you are subnetting your class B address
just out of curiosity... what's wrong with the Microsoft DNS Server? I've

Nothing is wrong with MS DNS server. I am using it too. One thing I'd love to
automate the process of adding/modifying zones and records via web browser or some
automated process. We have around 50-100 new users everyday and they'd like to have

I have read the manual but can't understand it. It seems to indicate you
can set up aliases so that people can send an email to:

Is this correct and if so how is it setup?
Thanks.
