That is exactly it im running on a Windows 2000 server as a PDC. I was not able to
find any information on changing the port for Imail though.

I'm afraid I do not know all the clients out there nor the one that you and
your people are using, so cannot give you explicit directions on how this
might be done. Many clients do have some 'timeout' field, either in the
original setup or where one can check/change the configuration.
Most likely it is unlimited. I think it was with later versions (5), that
the 250 user license became available. If it does not say 250 users, then it
is unlimited.
Are you considering updating to a newer version?

I can't seem to get the spool down on my new Imail
server. the spool is now over 11,000 messages. I am
using the imail server as a redirect gateway. the
queue timer is set to 30 minutes and the number of
retries is set to 20. the server is simply acting as
