one like this unless it was related to permissions during install. Oh well.

try a full install of 6.05. Let us know if that works.

Currently, IMail is using port 8383 for Web Messaging (I got the login page,
but without user info, could not login), port 88 has a 'statistics server'
and 80 has a web site. Port 8181 (IMail Web Admin) refuses the connection.

Thanks for the feedback! So it looks like we have one possible 'fix' when
settings don't seem to be working as shown. Guess I'd recommend the same
process (toggle setting with stop/start of service after each change) for
anybody who is experiencing something similiar.

You can do this by purchasing a COM control that implements the POP3 or IMAP
interface. There are a number to chose from (check 15seconds.com or other
sites).
If I remember right, the control will read the message headers and give you
some counts. One problem is if a user keeps gobs of messages

tried, you got an error) and if that is true, you probably won't get any
more error messages. Seems like a bad message in the Queue.

the RECENT message count (number of messages that have arrived in the

socket control for asp and using either of the following commands (client
