That's actually the easy piece; you can buy a pre-made ASP control. I
think ASPHTTP is one of the more popular ones.

virtual or with IP it doesn't matter which name is used as the host and
alias, mail.domain3.com/domain3.com. My question then, is there any
advantage to doing it either way?
