Hi, I'm trying to send mails from my account on mydomain, which run Imail 7.01, to my account ona foreigndomain , but everytime I try this I get 'Unknown user [EMAIL PROTECTED]' postmaster msg. I had a look at my logs and found this entry, 550 5.7.1 [EMAIL PROTECTED]... Relaying denied.

Dennis, May be you should try changing your relay option to relay for address and add in your webmail server IP address in the allow list. This will force external user to authenticate when sending mail thru your SMTP server but not required for webmail. Hope this will help. Thank you. Best

What you are seeing is a response from the foreign domain mail server, not your mail server. What is the mail server at the foreign domain? Maybe it does not like the combination of your e-mail address and IP address? I am sure someone will have a clearer answer. John
