this was a feature that we have

The last time I used Netscape mail (probably ver 4) it would not work
with the @ sign, unless a change was made somewhere in Netscape's

That's the rub -- the settings (relay for addresses) have never been

Anyway, I requested a retest and have been removed from njabl, without

That's open proxy, not open relay. That means that you are running
something other than IMail on the server, that is acting as a web
proxy. Open relays are not anonymous (they show the IP that connected to
them), whereas open proxies are.

Mark,

I didn't see that part of the spam log. Then your answer is still SMTP

Yes. The only problems we've had were not related to IMail per se, but more to using

Normal host notation for a single IP Address is like:
192.168.1.88
255.255.255.255
Try this.

Please forgive me if this seems trivial. I might be out-thinking myself
here.
In the AntiSpam administration, to add an IP Address range for say a Class

192.168.1.0
255.255.255.0

Thus allowing all mail from
But if I wanted to allow a single IP address from the /27 I enter in
192.168.1.88
255.255.255.224
But this doesn't seem correct.
it isn't, a single IP has a netmask of 255.255.255.255 or /32
