Rick,
Please let me know if the rebuild fixes this. We have this happen
(Imail1.exe opens on the server desktop) and our configuration is the same
as yours (Imail 8.15HF2, and the 3 Decludes 1.82). This only seems to happen
when there is a rash of the Sober viruses going around.
Thanks,
Mike

They are in the trusted list for immediate
deletion.
After looking at the logs further I noticed
that SpamCop reported every query from my mail server as listed.
Has anyone seen this before? I have
been looking at there newsgroups and there is mention of their service

If you are deleting messages based on failing SpamCop you
are deleting a LOT of valid messages. So if delivery of valid messaged is
not important to you what difference does it make if they're all
deleted?
To delete a message based on just SpamCop is extremely

I would not recommend that setup at all (delete
with spamcop). Spamcop currently has gmail servers listed. Last week
AOL and earthlink was listed. Spamcop is notorious for listing big ISP's
mail servers. Don't get me wrong its a great test when used in a weighting

No we don't have a front or back end gateway. If I
set Spamcop in IMail as a list to check it is still reporting almost every email
as spam. I had to delete it entirely. The strange part is that it
reports to my mail server that an IP address is blacklisted but when I check it

So check the IP adress of spamcop on your server and on a
test system. I don't know if spamcop is doing any DNS
Load-balacing, but my actual Address is:

Do you use your own DNS or a providers DNS? I
haveheard of providers in the past setup a spamcop zone and return
127.0.0.2 for any query. I have also seen other providers (ATT)
return nothing.
Darrell
I get the same IP when I do an nslookup or ping from the server.

We use our own DNS and the records point to the correct
IP. The other strange thing is when this first started all mail was being
flagged as bad and deleted. Then without me changing anything the Spamcop
Bounce and header was being added. Then about an hour later just IP
