Look for isplcln.exe in your Imail folder. Command line utility to
clean out the spool.
You could run this from a batch file and schedule with AT to keep

From my experience the performance is better if the paging file is
about 3 times the amount of physical memory. This can be spread
across multiple partitions. I just installed two pieces of software that
stressed the importance of this. Both said the same... 3X the

In Imail Admin if you open the domain in question,
then click the plus next to the users tab and then
click on the folder titled Users, then click the Edit
menu and choose select all. All users boxes should
get checked. Now click on the Disable Access
checkbox. Click Apply.

is common when a server is set to refuse to talk without first getting a
HELO. Sendmail and a few others have this switch available in SPAM
control. At this point the list server commands are not even started yet.

it is skipped in Imail. If it is, try sending a test message
to that account also. Some AOL accounts have filters

Sounds like Netscape is not logging out of the box. Or maybe it
is sending the commands in a wierd order? One could always
check for the existence of a .ndx file in the users folder at the same
time they are logged in. Then have them close NS and see how
long it takes for the box to open back

The only way I have been able to duplicate this problem is with Imonitor
set to auto-restart the POP3 service when it detects it is not running.
I have several users that transfer files in excess of 1 MB quite often and
they do not experience time-outs, etc.

I have seen this when either the main.mbx was being accessed via POP3
or Web Messaging at the same time or was being written to by another
process at the same time. If you glance through the logs you may see
this type of error more often for other users as well. In those cases the
message is
Go to Imail Administrator, click on Localhost, then
on the Monitor tab. Click the arrow to the right of
POP3 and see if Auto-Restart is set. Additionally
you can set the timeout higher if needed. May help.
I use What's Up Gold to handle this so I don't use
the internal monitor on Imail.
Note:
Any valid user. I wouldn't advise it since it is easily spoofed.
