Hi,
We are converting to iMail from another mail system and will convert somewhat slowly.
What I'd like to do is load all of our current users to iMail via LDAPER which works
great and then disable their account.
I then want to create a forward.ima file for each of them that will forward any
Hi,
I am wondering if anyone has a fix for this type of query against iMails LDAP (6.0.5)?
Here's what works:
search string = ((objectclass=*)(cn=bob*))
- returns the correct attributes.
what does not work:
search string = ((objectclass=person)(cn=bob*))
- returns nothing
I
great.

I just converted ours(6.0.4) from NT 4.0 to Win2K Server and it seems to be up and
running no problems.
I did not do an upgrade but an install and I had saved the registry values from the NT
box and reloaded them to the Win2K registry, seemed to work fine...
We have the HKSI templates and
e sure that there is no a line like "*nf*=0".
If you edited this file optimize the LDAP database.

Hi,
I have 6.0.4 with the web patch and am trying to use LDAP services. When I add a new

Does anyone know how
I ran into a similar problem in using LDAPER to add the information for users, the CN
did not add. Here's what I did to get it to display:
1. Click on the Users folder in the Administrator
2. Make a change to the Global User Changes and apply
3. The CN values shows up in LDAP.

The logging files tab button says it's running as well as SMTP and LDAP set to log to

The adminstrator program adds the CN attribute to the new users automatically.

I am installing iMail on a new NT server and want to change the web mail port that
iMail listens on to port 80. The manual indicates that you just change the Web

Hi,
When I was evaluating mail hosts (before selecting iMail) the Telephone attribute I
think was telephoneNumber (version 6.0.3).
Now with version 6.0.4 it seems to be Telephone. Can anyone verify that this indeed
changed between versions? I checked the release notes and there is no

I have seen this a couple times in my evaluation of iMail when I attempt an LDAP Query

Organization and Department attributes. Checking the Task Manager indicated the

Hi,
Has anyone added the lookup capability to the Web interface that queries iMail's LDAP

solution...

HI,
Does anyone know how to make iMail's LDAP return the Telephone attribute as
