I'm having a couple problems with webmail that I hope you can help with...
first, for some reason, half of my mailboxes don't mark messages as 'read'...do I just

hmm...maybe that's why it's never worked for me...we have a 'catch all' website...ie
http://64.xx.xx.xx/blah and http://209.xx.xx.xx/test all go to the same site if the
/blah and /test paths don't exist. And of course, to do this we need a site that

Anybody know why this rule: (in 7.04 imail)
B~Name=.{1,10}\.xxx\s
wouldn't catch the following filename in a message:
Name=BADVIRUS.xxx
The rule of {1,10}, in my interpretation is supposed to allow for any number
of characters between 1 and 10, but it seems to be ignoring the 1, and
only
Trouble is, I am not using Declude (though maybe I should be.) I have the
new integrated Symantec Anti-Virus addon. And it is NOT CATCHING ALL THE
VIRUSES! Our IMail rules have bailed us out SEVERAL times, when Symcscan
let the virus pass. (this is happening mostly with the BadTrans virus).
Anyone have a good rule to filter for .com attachments? Obviously, a
.com file is an executable which could do damage. But when you use that
extension in the typical rule, (B~name=.*\.vb!s\s|name=.*\.com\s)...etc.
you get MANY false positives.
We are using the suggested rule to catch .vbs .scr
It is not your MX or DNS. Your port 25 (SMTP) is not answering. POP3 (110)

I've tried letting the IPSwitch support dept know, but I've been on hold
for almost 45 minutes.
accept.txt will accept and process complete domains, but if you specify
an individual address as documented in the manual, no go.

Is the Remove message feature (from the queue) working for everyone
else? It doesn't do anything over here.

to handle such a small load (Considering ETRN is only
used when a customer is down).

With IMail the spam protection is either, or. You can't say I want to
accept mail from all local hosts and the following ETRN IP addresses.
It's one or the other.

Yea, it doesn't matter anyways. The ETRN support for IMail is horrible.
It's either an ETRN machine *OR* a server setup for virtual servers. It
can't do both like Exchange can. Exchange 2000 rocks for ETRN.

I *REALLY* hope you're joking. If you don't want to look at it, don't
click on the link. For those of us that are considering service
contacts and have been begging for additional information on IMail 7,
there's the info. Why buy a service contract for a product you know
nothing about?
