Len,
I am not sure how it works. All I know is that it

Len,
HTTPmail is the protocol that Outlook Express uses to
communicate with HTTP based mail systems such as
HotMail. It is useful when our consultants are
connected to a client's network behind a firewall and
the only way for them to get their email is via a web
interface.

Greetings,
I am running Imail 5.08 and have a list or ip
addresses and subnets that are allowed to relay from
my server. Some of the machines are able to relay and
others get the non-local host error. All of the
addresses and subnets have been entered according to
tech note IM-19980119-DD16
Has anyone successfully implemented the ORBS database
http://www.orbs.org with IMail? I am sure that there
are many poeple on this list that would love a 5
minute primer on how if anyone has a few minutes to
spend giving out a few details.
Thanks!

Greetings,
We am currently running an Imail 6 server with
multiple virtual domains. Our currnet mail traffic is
not great. We are running in a PII 266 with 128 meg
and a wide scsi disk system. We plan to add the fax
gateway and are predicting that it will tie up at
least 1 line with activity
I am currently running Imail v5. I have a customer
who would like to convert from a virtual domain to a
domain with it's own IP address so that they may
customize their own fromt door and so that all of
their mail originates from thierdomain.com. What
steps are needed to convert the domaiin
Our Imail server has one IP address and about 25
virutal domains. All mail coming from any domain
including the root domain, the recieved from field in
the header shows up as mail.brokenstorefront.com (may
be forged) instead of the actual virtual domain that
it is from. In the attached header
ck the new Imail installation to see
which domain
is recognized as the primary host.
It works for the Netscape users because that is more
than likely
how their login information was already being sent.

Greetings,
I recently experienced a Imail server hardware

a server crash so I restored the imail directory

Aaron,
Under Preferences, the user can select the number of messages per page
from the choices of 10, 20 50, or 100. Be sure to remind the
user that they must click the Save button to commit the change.

I was just trying to use AOL 5.0 to login to the web interface of my
IMail 5.07 server. It kept kicking me back to the login screen telling
me incorrect login. I was immediately able to login via IE 5
immediately afterward. Has anyone else experienced this?
Thanks!
