Hi Corey
try it with telnet first
when you log into port 110
type
user bla
you'll get the answer
+ok welcome
then write
pass bla
the user name does not need to be in quotes,
don't do any kind of deletes either as i think telnet picks them up as
characters.
the type
list to get the messages

Kieran,
Just wondering if you have gotten anywhere with your flash project.

Hi all,
Is there a way in Imail of removing an attachment from an email and instead
of destroying/bouncing the mail, still delivering the acompanying message
without the file?
(perhaps while adding on a note to say your mail contained an attachment,
contact system admin...? )
Regards,
Thanks Bill,
It looks like I'm going to have to go it alone. I'm experimenting with Flash
communicating via a java servlet to Imail. So far I have it sending mail on
port 25. But that's the easy part. Will let you know if anything comes of it
all.

Len, in my part of the world that's an obscure reference, I suspect you mean
W. Heath Robinson? But the cartoonist's famous quote or the machine???
Another obscure reference is the link to the chat room on your
www.go2france.com home page. It too leads to nowhere.. ;)

Hi all,
Does anyone possess or know of, any Macromedia Flash templates which could
be used in conjunction with IMAIL? I was thinking of making one.:(

Kieran
