Hello.. I have some standard global filters (rules.ima at root of Imail folder) to catch attachments with particular extentions. An employee received a message from with a VCard attachment and a jpg attachment. She forwarded the message and its attachments to another employee. The filters caught the fowarded message (but obviously not the original message). Everything's identical between the original and the forwarded message. If I forward the forward back to the original employee, the filters catch it. If I recreate the message and send it to her, the filters catch it again. Her settings in IMail are proper. So, I'm wondering why the original message coming in didn't get caught. Can filters spontaneously fail? IMail 6.04 on NT4 Thx, D.
