But it doesn't seem to work ... is Imail confused by the bracket, do
I need to put something special in for it to recognize the space then

This is not a real good idea at all. Anyone that uses the BCC function would
have their email trashed (I use it myself a lot, like to send jokes). But if
you insist, check out Rules in the Ipswitch

Worse - Imail seems to improperly handle the rules sometimes if
there is ANY kind of attachment. This is even mentioned in the
IMail manual, I beleive. It may falsely trigger the rule if there
is an attachement.

It is actually part of the MIME specification, not an IMail command, which is probably
why IMail doesn't mention it in the docs (although I think they ought to!).

but it does work! Thanks for the assistance. That resolves the problem of
randomly matching sequences within the attachment, for me... i am filtering
by file extention.

I created a rule within the IMail Administrator - not using an external file. It looks
only at the body text:
\.vbs
and another rule \.exe
I do NOT fwd to NUL because I want to know WHO sent a virus, IF it was indeed a virus
etc. So I forward to a mailbox called suspect. We usually help our
old distinguishes the msg from the attatchment. Not
sure if this is accurate though.
