You have discovered something indeed; sorry I reacted before delving
in deeper. Hotmail is not creating separate messages for each Bcc:
recipient, which is RFC-compliant: though we might expect otherwise,
the sending MTA is under no obligation to create a custom message for
each

I can't duplicate your findings, which is good, since they would
indicate a gigantic bug in Imail. Wanna check for forwards 'n' stuff,
then try it again?

There's no forward stuff that would be interfering. I tested this again with
the following setup:
I created 3 new email accounts, testuser, testuser2, testuser3. I again
sent an email from my hotmail account BCCing these 3 accounts. This time the
X-RCPT-TO field got set to [EMAIL PROTECTED] for
]: [IMail Forum] Header X-RCPT-TO
There's no forward stuff that would be interfering. I tested this again
with

At what point does does header info such as X-RCPT-TO get added to an
email message? There have been cases where a user gets an email that wasn't
intended for him/her, i.e. the TO and CC fields don't contain the users
address. However the X-RCPT-TO field will have the users address in it. I've
