People have
hadproblems with attachments on
Web-Mail. Basically, if you try to open or down-load an
attachment from the
Web-mail site, the resulting file is ASCII garbage. If you get
the download
via a mail client, it is OK.
I've heard of this problem... I believe a fellow user had it, maybe
they'll pipe up. The solution as far as I remember was just to update to
the latest version. What version are you running. There were some known
issues with this for a while.

to fix this issue by setting browser configs to bypass the proxy for our
mail site. We are a school district so our config is a bit different than an
ISP or a business model, but this solved the issue for us.
