Title: Message If anyone has seen this problem Please help. People have hadproblems with attachments on Web-Mail. Basically, if you try to open or down-load an attachment from the Web-mail site, the resulting file is ASCII garbage. If you get the download via a mail client, it is OK.

I have the same problem. With us the issue is a proxy server. We were able to fix this issue by setting browser configs to bypass the proxy for our mail site. We are a school district so our config is a bit different than an ISP or a business model, but this solved the issue for us. On 3/6/02
