Where did you get Thunderbird 0.9? I use Thunderbird/Imail, but the
latest Thunderb. version at http://www.mozilla.org/ is 0.8.

I thought I would ask around here as I might get a quicker response.
I have fired up Thunderbird 0.9 and it seems to work. But only seems
to. I can send just fine. I can't receive mail. It appears to work
in that Thunderbird reports no errors and just says 'no new mail'.

I'm really liking Firefox so far, vs Netscape 7.1 (I never used IE). FF
swallowed all my NS settings, bookmarks, history, etc, etc. beautiful.
I fired up TB but the importing of my huge Eudora mailboxes was taking too
FWIW TB gobbled up all of my Outlook settings (except for the one
above) and imported a kazillion email messages and contacts from
Outlook 2002. Firefox imported all bookmarks and seems to pretty much
work fine right out of the gate. Haven' yet seen anything it breaks
