I want to use my Imail as a backup MX record for a company. I have
followed the instructions in the KB, but get the follwing errors when
someone gets the secondary MX record:
“Hi. This is the qmail-send program at mail.larry.ca. I’m afraid I
wasn’t able to deliver your message to the following address. This is a
permanent error; I’ve given up. Sorry it didn’t work out.
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:
192.168.0.1 does not like recipient.
Remote host said: 550 not a local host domain.ca, not a gateway Giving
up on 192.168.0.1.”
What have I missed? I have the IP address of the main MX record in my
host file and in my allowed for relay.
