I am likely overlooking a built-in Imail or Windows technique, but
With 10,000+ accounts, when I try to expand the USERS folder in either Imail
Admin or Windows Explorer to find a particular user and look at their
settings or directly at their folders/files, it takes forever and sometimes
stalls

If you know the correct spelling, you could open a windows explorer window
and in the address bar type in the path and hit enter.
So, if the user sales1, you would type some thing like
