We had to rebuild our Windows 2000 web server due to a virus problem. We need
to load FrontPage Extensions but Microsoft appears to have removed them from
their web site. Does anyone have a copy they would be willing to pass along?
Or, perhaps, a .NET version compatible with Windows 2000?

We had the same problem. When we used hfnetchk, it appears that perhaps the patches didn't really get applied the first time or two around. Luckily, we only had one IIS server out of nine infected.
