Title: Address of original sender, when sent to a list
If using Outlook (not Outlook Express) as a mail client, the person who forwards the mail can click on "Options" in the toolbar and set a reply address of his/her choice.

Betreff: [IMail Forum] Address of original sender, when sent to a list

Hi,

Is there any way to make the address of the original sender to a list, appear, once the email is forwarded to someone else?

For example, if I receive an email from the IMAIL list, it says "on behalf of the sender", then in brackets, has the sender's address.

However, if I take that email and forward it to someone, it "loses" the original sender's address and just has the sender's name.

Is there any workaround to this?

We have a customer sales inquiry mailing list. The person who monitors that list, receives the email with the inquiry, then forwards it to the appropriate sales manager.

By the time the sales manager receives the forwarded email, the original sender's address is not available or apparent any longer.

Suggestions?

Thanks,
Sharyn
