Looks like misery loves company but no real solutions ;-(
I'm at 100 delivery threads, 50 retry, 8 listen pipes. It's 8.15 on
W2k3 and it handles about 200k/day. First time anything like this has
ever happened.

You
can use just userid on a virtual IF:
you
set up DNS for mail.virutaldomainname.tld (or whatever)
AND
add the fully quallified name as an alias in IMail Admin. IE, for the virtual
domain "domain", set up an alias on the General page for that virtual
host.
I
believe it's a browser-side
To preface this question, I have an extremely low mail volume with only
about 200 users in 1 domain. I have outsourced anti-spam/anti-virus to
Postini and now only get about 500 messages a day.
Do you think it's feasible to run IMail (given my scenario above) in a
virtual machine under VMware?
Let me
be more clear.
If the
virtual is virtualdomain.tld, then on the virtual domain's General page, in the
aliases box, enter mail.virtualdomain.tld.

Hi Andy,
We're using VMWare Workstation since years for testing applications. IMail is
able to run
with VMWare Workstation. The new version is really cool.
The Server Editions of VMWare are quite expensive, I'm not really sure, if it
makes sense to use it. From a technical point of view, why

Yes; it has been done.
Are the quotes to signify it's possible but not a good idea? Any tips or
things I should look out for? I was planning on using GSX server for it.
Thanks.

Not sure about VMware, but we have deployed several solutions using
Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 and we offer virtual machine hosting for our
clients to do the same - gives them the equivalent of a dedicated server for
a lot lower price.

Included errors in the original post. Here they are:
06:22 18:52 SMTP-(ebba1ee000a6825e) ERR 005 - Send message thread exception

This is no problem at all. We converted our radius server to a VM and
installed a second server for the mail server and it works perfect.

We use Declude (AV and JM). We don't whitelist our domain or the IP.
But maybe it has to do with the processing order. We get a bunch of
notifications (from Declude AV) about these attempts to send viruses, so
perhaps Declude is running before the Verify MAIL FROM command, and
sending out
FYI - This does not appear to be the case. Program aliases to not appear to be able to execute rules. This is because they are aliases, not users.

Declude runs after the VALFROM check is processed, but Declude may be setup to
not deliver the message to you. Check the headers of
the message (if you can). If you see an X-IMAIL-SPAM-VALFROM header, then the
'verify mail from address' check is working.
Have a good one,
Christian

It's perfectly feasible, but needs to be accompanied by a firm idea of
how to size/resize physical boxes to host virtual machines. I see
people get carried away by the presumed savings in hardware,
overloading a box
Hello All,
I know this is not a list of the confirm product, but has anyone else had

The notification that Declude sends out to me does not contain
X-IMAIL-SPAM-VALFROM (which makes sense, since it's just a notification,
not the original email). I just want the notifications to go away,
which should happen if the VALFROM command is processed first, but this
doesn't seem to be
